Atelier Mela Millinery Internship

Fullerton, CA - Summer 2018

Millinery Internship under the instruction of Mela Hoyt-Heydon, owner and head designer of Atelier Mela.

Internship consisted of:

  • Building hats from start to finish

  • Sewing with wire, buckram, & straw braid

  • Pulling/Blocking straw braid hoods over wooden hat forms

  • Trimming and linning finished products
